Enspire Designs is based on a strong entrepreneurial
spirit. Since 1992, we've delivered quality products and services
to large and small organizations alike. Unlike many organizations
who represent themselves as web designers using little more
than a "what you see is what you get" web editor,
we've got the credentials to back the promise of delivering
a high-quality, user friendly website. Here's more information
about Enspire Designs.
Sue
Schmidt has 10 years of experience in the Internet and web
development arena. As principle of Enspire and through other
work experiences, she has developed Internet applications
for major organizations and developed and delivered web-enabled
training. She holds an M.A.Ed. from George Washington University
in educational technology leadership. She has a broad business
background in marketing, sales, advertising, education, law
and project management. This experience allows her to translate
user requirements into sound, usable web strategies and architecture.
Her philosophy is to drive the site capabilities,
content and technology based on audience needs. This process
starts by identifying the primary audience and site goals.
A high-level site map serves as the foundation for successful
website implementation, depicting primary and secondary navigation
based on content to be delivered. Review of existing sites
allows for the creation of a sound architecture and appropriate
recommendations to enhance the user experience. The design
work follows using the site map as the foundation. Content
is collected or created, as applicable, and incorporated into
the site. The technology used to create a site is based on
the complexity of the content and the limitations and expectations
of the audience. Testing prior to release insures a quality
implementation. All of these steps translate into successful
project management and implementation of highly effective,
user-friendly web applications.
Previous positions Sue has held include the
Director Web Management for MediaOne (the third largest cable
company prior to purchase by AT&T Broadband), Senior Consultant
Web Strategy and Design for Monigle Associates, and Designer
Learning Environment and Internet Services for the University
of Nebraska Medical Center. In all positions she was responsible
for working with business units/faculty to define end-user
Internet needs, designing an architectural framework that
complemented those needs, and developing the end product.
